As a Maintenance Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create the safe and attractive surroundings that enable the organisation to give their residents the quality care and support they deserve. The role offers variety as you'll undertake a range of tasks to ensure the building and grounds are well-maintained at all times.

Main duties of the job

The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for a range of property maintenance tasks to keep the care home in excellent condition. This includes carrying out repairs, painting and decorating, and general upkeep of the building and grounds. The successful candidate should have some experience in property maintenance and a patient, caring nature to work with the residents.
