ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Maintenance Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help create safe and attractive surroundings that enable us to provide the quality care and support our residents deserve. It's important that our homes make the right first impression and that every area is always well-maintained. The role of Maintenance Assistant offers variety as you'll undertake a range of tasks to ensure our building and grounds are at their best every day.

ABOUT YOU
You'll need some experience in property maintenance to join us as a Maintenance Assistant. We also look for a patient, caring nature and a genuine interest in our work. Reliability and a willingness to handle a range of tasks focused on maintaining the home to high standards are essential.

The position is part-time, 20 hours per week across 3 days (Monday to Friday). There is also a requirement to be available for out-of-hours emergencies (on call) if needed.
