Hello Brighton!

No.124 By GuestHouse and Pearly Cow Restaurant has now opened their doors as one of the most anticipated openings on the South Coast in 2024. We're taking pride of place right on the seafront and will be Brighton's newest boutique hotel by the sea.

We're now looking to recruit a superstar Maintenance Assistant (Handy Person), to work alongside our Maintenance Manager, ensuring that the hotel is in ship-shape working order and ready to welcome our guests, supporting us in becoming the go-to stay destination in Brighton.

The Job

No two days will be the same. You could be painting a wall one moment, changing light bulbs by lunchtime, then fixing a leaky showerhead in the afternoon, all whilst juggling last-minute requests from Housekeeping/Reception. Multi-tasking is key to this role.

This is a part-time role of 20 hours per week, including weekend shifts.

A Bit About You

To be our Maintenance Assistant, you should:

• Be hardworking and driven
• Have a genuine passion for hospitality and maintenance
• Possess at least 2 years' experience in maintenance, hotel maintenance experience preferred
• Have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Be detail-oriented and passionate about creating a warm welcome
• Be a team player and genuine in your approach
