The Department of Campus Infrastructure is responsible for the maintenance and development of the University's buildings. We are currently seeking to appoint Maintenance Assistants to support the team in undertaking planned and unplanned maintenance, such as general repairs, minor plumbing in accommodation buildings, and safety testing.

The University has a fantastic reputation for student experience, and the professionalism of our maintenance staff contributes significantly to this success.

We Would Like To Hear From You If You
  • have experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting (qualifications are not essential)
  • are familiar with and comfortable working in the built environment, able to identify and address various maintenance tasks, and keep affected parties informed
  • are flexible and willing to undertake training to enhance your skills
  • are committed to the role and capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • possess good problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills
Further Information

This is a full-time (36.5 hours per week), permanent role, Monday to Friday, with options to work on-campus or with the City maintenance team.
