We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the properties we manage are well-maintained and safe for our residents. You will assist with repairs, routine maintenance, and support in a variety of tasks to keep our residential buildings in excellent condition.

What's on offer:

• Rate of pay: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour
• Hours per week: Full Time
• Monthly Pay

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the repair and maintenance of residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Conduct routine inspections of the properties to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely manner.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas, ensuring a tidy and pleasant environment.
• Assist with the coordination of outside contractors for larger repair and maintenance projects when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used for reporting purposes.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a maintenance role or similar field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
