Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Signature at Hendon Hall, Hendon. You will maintain, repair and improve the home, handling maintenance requests and advising on preventative measures.

PAT testing and accurate records are part of the role. Excellent English skills, CSCS certification, and a full clean driving licence are advantageous, with training in safety standards and COSHH highlighted as priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, repairs and improvements.
• Ability to perform PAT testing and maintain records.
• Good written and verbal English; able to follow health and safety guidelines.

Your role at Signature

We want your eye for detail and practical skills to keep our luxury care and nursing home in Hendon as functional as it is beautiful, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Maintenance Assistant.

What you will do

As our Maintenance Assistant, you’ll be the safe pair of hands we rely on to maintain, repair and improve our home. You’ll use your problem-solving skills to carry out maintenance requests, and you’ll be able to offer advice on preventative maintenance measures and improvements. You’ll be responsible for PAT testing electrical equipment, and ensuring all maintenance records are accurate and up to date.

It goes without saying that you’ll do all of this within health & safety guidelines to reduce risks. You’ll also complete work in a timely manner to minimise any inconvenience to residents.
