Overview

We are a large residential apartment complex in Newburgh, NY and are currently looking for Maintenance Assistant to add to our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance staff with work orders
• General building maintenance
• Carpet removal
• Unit cleanouts
• Work in crawlspaces or on a ladder
• Snow removal
• Assist with other jobs around the property as needed
• Opportunity for advancement to a Maintenance Technician based on skills

Qualifications

• General handyman skills
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be able to work alone or with others
• Must have a valid driver's license (non-negotiable)
• Location: 207 Lake Drive, Newburgh, NY
• On-call availability periodically for snow and emergencies; candidate should live nearby and be able to reach the property within 30 minutes
• Full-time position: Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
