Maintenance Assistant

Salary (inclusive of shift allowance): OTE £42,000 (includes overtime)

Responsibilities
  • Work experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG automation environment.
  • Basic work within an electrical or mechanical environment.
  • Respond to automation equipment issues.
  • Prioritize basic system faults.
  • Support and assist Engineers with equipment servicing.
  • Comply with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Assist with the resolution of equipment faults (Mechanical/Electrical).
  • Support continual improvement of the site.
Knowledge
  • Ability to read and understand basic drawings and instructions.
  • Logical approach to fault finding and resolution.
Qualifications

NVQ in engineering, mechanical, or electrical is desirable but not essential.
