Overview

Maintenance AssistantBand 3
Permanent, full-time: 37.5 hours per week (08:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday)

Site: Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool. Department: LUH - 1 General Staffing (AFC posts).

Salary: £24,937 - £26,598 per annum. Closing date: 20/10/2025 23:59.

Responsibilities
  • Planned Maintenance: Execute a range of planned maintenance tasks to keep buildings and external environments safe and in good order.
  • Safety First: Conduct regular inspections and address potential hazards to maintain a secure environment.
  • Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Flexible Support: Adapt to changing priorities and support clinical teams and patient care as required.
  • To undertake, without supervision, a variety of tasks which include:
    • External grounds inspections
    • Repair and replacement of external pavings and kerbs
    • Casting of concrete slabs
    • General site labouring
    • Dismantling and installation of hospital equipment and street furniture
    • Road repairs
    • General building repairs
    • Patch plastering
