Job summary

A leading hotel chain in the UK is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to ensure the upkeep of its facilities. You will lead maintenance tasks, work with contractors, and maintain health and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar hotel environment and strong communication skills. This is a full-time role with competitive pay of £12.56 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required.
• Knowledge of electrics and health and safety is beneficial.

Maintenance Assistant, Hotel du Vin

Rate of Pay / Hours: 12.56 per hour, 40 hours

Type of Contract: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities and the management of the maintenance team to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently and guest expectations are met during their stay.
• Proactively complete the daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules with an eye for detail and a passion for fixing things.
• Work to deadlines and liaise confidently with contractors.
• Take responsibility for health and safety, keep organized, communicate effectively, and maintain excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required.
• Knowledge of electrics and health and safety are beneficial.
• Good organisation, communication, and attention to detail.
