Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support both planned and reactive maintenance across our hotel properties. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy and have opportunities to grow within a friendly team.

With a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and guest experience, you will work across guest rooms, public areas, and plant equipment, prioritising urgent repairs and proactive maintenance while aligning with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience within hospitality, facilities management or a similar environment.
• Good all-round trade skills including basic electrical, plumbing, decorating and general repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring safety, presentation and functionality.
• Support day-to-day maintenance of guest bedrooms, public areas, and plant equipment.
• Complete maintenance jobs efficiently while minimising disruption to guests and operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
• Work closely with operational departments to resolve maintenance issues quickly.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
• Support project work, refurbishments and contractor management as required.

Your Job:

What You Will Need:
