It’s a great opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant working in the West Anglia Team. Due to the nature of our work, you’ll live within 30 minutes travel of Chalton, Luton, Dunstable, or Leighton Buzzard.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll undertake site routines and other duties on plant and equipment to a defined standard, ensuring optimum efficiency and safety. Your day-to-day responsibilities include driving to various sites in a company vehicle to carry out planned preventative maintenance checks. You’ll use an iPad to follow instructions for the required checks. On-the-job and formal training will be provided for development, with future opportunities for progression.

What are the requirements?

We would like your CV to demonstrate that you are a safe worker, can follow instructions, and have practical skills working on various types of plant and equipment. You should enjoy working with and helping others in the team. You need to be comfortable using a laptop and iPad and hold a full UK driving license. Desirable – Mechanical or Electrical experience.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting salary £31,973 pa + £1,794 pa Seasonal working allowance + £4,500 pa London Allowance.
• 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday; weekends off.
