You will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard. Areas include guest bedrooms, bathrooms, associated areas, as well as staff accommodation.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out maintenance on all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure that they are in safe condition and action is taken when any unsafe situations arise.
• Carrying out maintenance tasks including joinery, plumbing, electrics, painting and decorating according to the daily task list.
• Carrying out maintenance of the staff accommodation internally and externally according to the daily task list.
• Ensuring compliance with Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Fire & Bomb Policies and Procedures.

Our successful Maintenance Assistant will have:

• Proven experience in property maintenance or related field, preferably in a similar luxury hotel environment.
• Technical knowledge and skill in joinery, plumbing, electrical systems, general repairs, and painting and decorating.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
