• Support the wider hotel team with upkeep and practical tasks.
• Keep maintenance, storage and outdoor areas clean, organised and safe.
• Report maintenance issues needing separate attention.
• Perform general odd jobs to keep the hotel running smoothly.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to guests and colleagues.

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join the team at Brig o' Doon House Hotel. This is a varied, practical role supporting the general upkeep of the hotel, grounds and outdoor areas, with a range of day-to-day tasks to help keep the property looking its best and running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist with the general upkeep and presentation of the hotel, grounds and outdoor areas.
• Carry out basic outdoor tasks such as leaf blowing, sweeping, weeding and keeping paths and external areas tidy.
• Assist with moving and transporting linen, supplies and other items around the hotel.
• Assist with transporting guest luggage when required.
• Support the wider hotel team with general upkeep and practical tasks as needed.
• Help keep maintenance, storage and outdoor areas clean, organised and safe.
• Report any maintenance issues or repairs that require further attention.
• Assist with general odd jobs around the property to help keep the hotel running smoothly.
• Provide a friendly and helpful service to guests and colleagues when carrying out duties around the hotel.
• Work as part of the wider team and assist with other duties as required.

What We're Looking For:

• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in a variety of tasks.
• Previous experience in a maintenance, gardening, groundskeeping or similar practical role would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, tidy and well-presented surroundings.
• A reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• A valid driving licence would be beneficial.
