SSP is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide efficient and high-quality building fabric maintenance across the North London to Milton Keynes region. You will coordinate with the Maintenance Helpdesk, plan labour time, implement improvements, and ensure timely reporting of work using PDA devices.
Experience in building maintenance, a flexible travel mindset, and NVQ Level 2 or equivalent are required. Hybrid working with a focus on delivering reliable service to unit managers is offered.
The role is responsible for providing an efficient and effective brand maintenance service to SSP units within the designated area. This includes planning and delivering a high-quality building fabric maintenance programme, while adopting a continuous improvement and right-first-time approach to reduce equipment and building fabric faults and minimise customer service downtime. Effective team working is essential to ensure that the complete maintenance service provided to customers is delivered to a high standard and completed promptly, particularly where cooperation with colleagues or other teams is required. The role will also support the Maintenance Manager, Assistant Maintenance Manager and colleagues across the wider business by providing clear and effective communication on unit maintenance requirements, helping to deliver added value to unit managers. All work orders must be received and managed exclusively through the Maintenance Helpdesk or PDAs.
Please note that this role will cover the region of North London to Milton Keynes
