Maintenance Apprentice - Control Systems Analyzer

Applicants must do the following:

Responsibilities
  • Dismantle, repair, adjust, overhaul, erect, install, assemble, fabricate, and service analyzers, sample systems, and other electrical and instrument equipment throughout the plant.
  • Ensure reliable, accurate, and safe analyzer system operation at the site.
  • Detect faulty equipment via inspection, testing, or knowledge.
  • Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on analyzer systems.
  • Work from blueprints, specifications, procedures, sketches, and oral instructions.
  • Make repairs using reference materials and experience.
  • Utilize testing and measurement equipment.
  • Follow maintenance procedures and keep tools and equipment in good condition.
  • Perform basic root cause failure analysis and record information in reporting systems.
  • Perform specialized skills related to process analyzer equipment as needed.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Coordinate precise movements and responses to visual prompts.
  • Use computers to access procedures, complete training, and input/retrieve data.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
  • Be available for overtime, on-call duties, and rotating shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
  • Use all required safety and personal protective equipment.
  • Work in various environments, including outdoors in all weather conditions, and handle physical tasks such as lifting and climbing.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, dependability, and initiative.
