A Maintenance Assistant is responsible for carrying out maintenance work promptly and to high standards, ensuring an excellent Guest and Member experience.

What will I be doing?

As a Maintenance Assistant, your responsibilities include:

• Implementing statutory and legal requirements including fire, health and safety, hygiene, electricity, and local by-laws
• Responding promptly to inquiries
• Carrying out maintenance repairs with appropriate PPE
• Maintaining green areas and car parks when applicable
• Following planned preventative maintenance programs
• Building good relationships with internal and external customers and contractors
• Implementing energy conservation initiatives
• Following COSHH regulations for hazardous substances
• Attending additional training suitable for the role
• Completing all aspects of the apprenticeship program
