Job Title: Maintenance and Lubrication Technician
Working Hours/Shift Pattern: 40 hours weekly (standard hours). Overtime may be available.

Our client is a technology-driven industrial services provider offering engineering solutions and technical services across various industries. Their Scarborough site is seeking a Maintenance and Lubrication Engineer on a Temp to Perm basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure smooth operation.
  • Change oil, filters, and rotate tires, among other tasks.
  • Use predefined assets to lubricate bearings, spray chains, and fill oil bots.
  • Apply lubricants to rotating elements.
  • Follow routes sent via an iPad and work on predefined routes.
  • Manage weekly stock levels and update the system regarding inventory.
  • Implement lubrication techniques to optimize regimes.
  • Carry out first-line maintenance activities, assessing and escalating issues as needed.
  • Liaise with clients regarding lubrication issues identified during duties.
  • Perform repairs and modifications as necessary, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Assist in lubrication training for the client's operational personnel.
  • Report asset defects and enter notifications into the client's ERP system.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Tribology and lubrication methodologies.
  • Experience with rotating equipment and ability to support training.
  • Technical apprenticeship, A-level, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification.
