This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance on the site, ensuring safety for all visitors and staff. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including general maintenance, plumbing, painting, groundskeeping and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across the building, including replacing light bulbs, electrical fixtures and ensuring the office is in working order.
• Carry out routine checks on the facilities, highlighting any defects or health and safety concerns, logging these and scheduling repairs.
• Deal with contractors coming onto site, ensuring they have signed in.
• Perform fire alarm testing ensuring they are fully operational.
• Carry out minor plumbing repairs, fixing leaks, unclogging drains.
• Support with any painting or decorating duties.
• Assist with the upkeep of the HVAC system, ensuring it is fully functional.
• Keep accurate records of any maintenance work carried out.
• Respond efficiently and quickly to emergency repairs.
• Grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, litter picking and cleaning of hard surfaces.
• Contribute to the Legionella testing compliance program, ensuring that water systems are regularly checked and maintained according to safety standards.
