Client Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable housing provider committed to maintaining safe, functional, and high-quality living environments for tenants. As part of their ongoing investment in property standards, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Operative to join their responsive maintenance team.

Role Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repairs across social housing properties, with a particular focus on making good damage following leaks (e.g., ceilings, walls, floors) and ensuring homes are restored to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Undertake general maintenance duties across a range of tenanted and void properties
2. Carry out reactive repairs and remedial work following water damage, including patch plastering, painting, basic carpentry, and minor plumbing
3. Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high quality standard
4. Accurately report work completed and materials used using handheld or manual systems
5. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times
6. Provide feedback to the maintenance supervisor on recurring issues or property conditions

You will be provided with a van and all necessary tools, which stay at the office overnight.
