A local school in England seeks a talented and motivated teacher to join their staff in January 2026. The role involves teaching KS2 or KS3 students, offering a nurturing environment and extensive support. Applicants should have Qualified Teacher Status and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. The salary range is £32,916 - £51,048, with a full-time fixed contract.
We are looking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our school from January 2026. Catshill Middle School is welcoming, positive and inclusive. The core purpose of the federation is to provide a nurturing community that challenges all to succeed.
Both Catshill Middle School and Catshill First School have recently joined the Spire Church of England Learning Trust. This is an exciting time for both schools and all staff. The Spire Trust currently has 6 schools with the joint aim of raising standards and benefiting the children and families the schools serve. The Trust team provides excellent support for curriculum leads, enables extensive networking and offers continued career development opportunities and training.
We are also fortunate to be federated with Catshill First School which provides us with excellent opportunities for effective transition with our main feeder school and opportunities for staff collaboration.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and will inspire, challenge and motivate children to achieve. You will join a positive and extremely caring staff with a ‘can do’ attitude to change and development. We encourage applications from teachers with KS2 or KS3 experience. We can be flexible regarding subject area specialism/preferences: Maths, English and Humanities.
The Trust is committed to safeguarding the well-being of children and young people and the promotion of fundamental British values and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to a DBS Enhanced Disclosure, satisfactory references and pre-employment checks. An online search will be undertaken on all shortlisted candidates.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
If you feel you can make a difference and would like to join us, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Miss Julia Shingler, Headteacher for the Catshill Federation by telephone 01527 872431 or email jshingler@catshill-middle.worcs.sch.uk for further details and an application form. We encourage all candidates to register for a tour of the school and to meet the Headteacher.
