MPJ Recruitment seeks a Mains Water Engineer for Reading and surrounding areas. The role involves outdoor work, inspecting and repairing external mains water supplies, and delivering high-quality repairs for domestic and commercial clients.

You will work independently, investigate leaks, perform repairs, and ensure workmanship meets top standards. The position offers a basic salary of £30,000–£40,000 with overtime opportunity and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in mains water repairs.
• Leak detection and excavation experience.
• CAT scanner knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Investigating and repairing external mains water supplies.
• Leak detection and "find & fix" repairs.
• Excavation, pipe installation and repairs.
• Reinstating paving, tarmac and concrete to a high standard.
• Delivering excellent customer service on every job.
