Job description

As a Mainframe System Administrator z/OS at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across platforms and services. You’ll work with new technology and modernization efforts, collaborating with some of the world’s biggest clients.

No two days are alike in this role. You’ll manage systems data, provide day-to-day solutions, ensure security compliance, and prioritize tickets to deliver optimal solutions to clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• MVS SMP/e skills and foundational knowledge of z/OS systems
• Proficiency with z/OS system tools such as TSO, ISPF, SDSF
• Experience with z/OS system administration, including installation and maintenance
• Familiarity with z/OS ISHELL/OpenMVS
• Understanding of Mainframe z/OS system operations
• Experience with Mainframe product installation
• Willingness to learn and develop Mainframe skills

Nice to have:

• Vulnerability management expertise
• Familiarity with ticketing tools like SM9, ServiceNow
• Mainframe-related certifications
