Job description

As a Mainframe System Administrator z/OS at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across a range of platforms and services. You’ll be working with some of our biggest clients, which means some of the largest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a Mainframe System Administrator z/OS at Kyndryl because no two projects are alike. You’ll manage systems data for clients, provide day-to-day solutions, and ensure security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments, work directly with technicians, and prioritize tickets to deliver optimal solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• MVS SMP/e skills and foundational knowledge of z/OS systems
• Proficiency with z/OS system tools such as TSO, ISPF, SDSF
• Experience with z/OS system administration, including installation and maintenance
• Familiarity with z/OS ISHELL/OpenMVS
• Understanding of Mainframe z/OS operations
• Experience with Mainframe product installation
• Willingness to learn and develop Mainframe skills
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (must have)
