Mainframe Modernization Consultant/Architect

We're looking for driven consultants and engineers who want to shape strategy, drive transformation, and own the journey from Legacy to future-ready architectures.

What You'll Do

1. Lead or support Mainframe modernization engagements (Cobol, JCL, z/OS, IMS, DB2, etc.)
2. Assess Legacy architectures and design future-state cloud- or hybrid solutions
3. Collaborate with client stakeholders, engineers, and cloud partners to drive transformation from design through to execution
4. Work across sectors including finance, insurance, and the public sector
5. Contribute to internal accelerators, tools, and methodologies that differentiate us from traditional consultancies

Experience:

1. Proven experience in Mainframe modernization projects (eg, replatforming, refactoring, rehosting)
2. Deep understanding of Cobol, JCL, z/OS, and Legacy systems architecture
3. Bonus if you've worked on cloud migration (AWS, Azure, GCP)
4. Strong consulting skills: stakeholder management, problem-solving, delivery ownership
5. Ideally a background in a top-tier consultancy (Big 4, Tier 1, or equivalent)
6. A desire to move fast, take ownership, and make a real impact
