Job summary

WHSmith Travel in Birmingham is seeking a Sales Assistant for a fully flexible, in-store role with shifts across the week (typical shifts include 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm; Sundays 8am-10pm; Saturdays 6am-11pm). You’ll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to uphold our store standards.

You’ll focus on welcoming customers, replenishing stock, maintaining tidy displays, and collaborating to achieve high standards.

This is a fully flexible position, candidates must be able to work a variety of shifts across the week to meet the needs of the business (typical shifts are 6am-2pm / 2pm- 10pm). We trade 8am-10pm on Sundays, 6am-10pm Monday to Friday and 6am - 11pm on Saturdays.

As a Sales Assistant you’ll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers, and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us.
