Job summary

DHL eCommerce UK in Ryton on Dunsmore is looking for a Mail Sorter to process mail, scan, encode and sort inbound and outbound consignments with care and accuracy.

You will locate all mail in the warehouse, handle items safely in line with mail integrity, and perform quality checks as part of the ETOE operations.

The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate and employee benefits including pension and discounts.

Qualifications

• Flexible approach to work and able to support team in resolving problems.
• Strong work ethic and real attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Quality checks of items processed through ETOE operations.
• Bagging and tagging outgoing International Mail.
• Scanning and palletising outbound mail; handover scanned mail for distribution.
• Lifting of mail boxes and bags in line with manual handling.
• Report security breaches to supervisor.
