Job summary

Royal Mail's Northern Ireland Mail Centre is seeking a Mail Sorter to join a fast-paced warehouse team. You will unload mail from vans, move items in trolleys, and sort parcels and letters, operating machinery when needed.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a 37-hour week and night shifts from 23:00 to 07:00. Eligible candidates will receive a guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68, 22.5 days holiday (rising with service), a contributory pension and opportunities for career development.

Hours: 37 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Friday working between 23.00 and 07.00

It’s a shift like no other centre you will cover various indoor roles in a warehouse environment. On your feet and keeping up the pace. Changing from one task to another along the sorting chain, you could be unloading mail from vans, moving it around in trolleys, sorting parcels and letters manually or operating machinery. A mail centre can process over a million items in a shift and you’ll be a valuable part of making that happen. And you take it in your stride. Please note:

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
