Job summary

Bloomberg L.P. in London seeks a Product Manager for the Macro and Commodity Research Data portfolio. You will own product development from opportunity through launch and ongoing enhancement, building expertise across macro datasets and commodity data used in systematic and fundamental research.

You will translate client workflows into product specs, define data quality and interoperability requirements, and collaborate across data, engineering, sales and support to drive adoption and revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in product management, financial data or related roles.
• Understanding of macroeconomic or commodity markets and related data.
• Experience turning client workflows into product specs and technical requirements.
• Experience with data platforms, APIs and cloud-based delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the Macro and Commodity Research Data products from discovery through launch and ongoing enhancement.
• Develop subject-matter expertise in relevant datasets and their investment workflows.
• Translate client needs into clear product specs including data quality and interoperability.
• Collaborate with data, engineering, sales and support to deliver products and manage risks.
• Support commercial strategy, pricing, packaging and monetisation efforts.
