Qualifications

Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hours

Following a period of growth, our Kettering based client is seeking a skilled Machinist/Fitter to join their busy machinery production team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a world-renowned organisation known for quality and innovation.

About The Role ...
  • As a Machinist/Fitter you will be required to carry out the following:
  • Use of manual and CNC machinery to produce components to drawings
  • Assembly/fitting of components to produce machinery and mechanicalassemblies to drawings
  • Mechanical calibration of assembled machinery to procedures
  • Meticulous documentation of design changes of deviations, as well as calibrationdata
  • Provision of general production support as required
About You ...

Essential
  • Machining experience, both manual and CNC
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office products
Desirable
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
