Machinist

BSW Timber Solutions Ltd are part of the very successful BSW Group, one of the largest manufacturing businesses in the UK. BSW Timber Solutions, are a leading timber manufacturer and distributer to the DIY, and Builders Merchant markets.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Machinist to join our dynamic team. We are looking for talented individuals to help us grow and continue to deliver excellence. If you have experience working with timber or in a similar environment, and you are passionate about safety and efficiency we’d love to hear from you!

Main responsibilities:

• Be accountable to lead your team on the line and help nurture their skill sets to help improve safety and productivity.
• Ensuring Health and Safety rules are always abided to.
• Coordinating all relevant paperwork associated with picking.
• Keeping good clear written records of product details.
• Maintaining general cleanliness of the factory environment at all times.

We are looking for someone who has:

• The ability to identify problems and resolve them.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong awareness of Health and Saefty.
• High levels of accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
