The Job

Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing exceptional support to the sales team to enhance productivity and sales performance.
  2. Processing purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, credits, and related paperwork accurately and promptly.
  3. Managing documents via internal storage and ensuring our website and records are up to date.
  4. Handling UK and international goods paperwork, complying with company policies and legal requirements.
  5. Collaborating with government bodies like Defra and shipping agents for machinery readiness and documentation such as PHYTO and BOL certificates.
  6. Administering depot transfers for machinery movements.
  7. Liaising with suppliers, finance companies, and logistics providers.
  8. Working with internal teams to resolve customer and supplier queries.
  9. Understanding supplier schemes, terms, and agreements.
  10. Supporting aftersales teams to ensure a positive customer journey.
  11. Managing customer, supplier, and sales team inquiries via phone and email.
  12. Assisting the sales team with administrative tasks, including documentation and checks.
  13. Supporting the integration of the new Technology Specialist role.
  14. Adhering to company policies, including safety, health, environmental, and IT protocols.
Skills, Experience, and Qualities Required

Essential:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Confident, assertive, and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing priorities effectively.
  • Analytical mindset.

Desirable:

  • Experience with systems like Ibcos, Microsoft D365, CRM, Power BI, Culverdocs.
  • Experience in the agricultural industry.
  • Full UK driving license.
