Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a Machine Operator / Warehouse Operative to join a busy team in Loughborough. You will operate slitter/rewinder and label application machinery, supporting goods-in/out and production planning.

Role requires a minimum of 2 years machine operating experience and an in-date FLT licence. Own transport is preferred due to location, with a Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 shift and £16.00 per hour.

Job Description

We’re currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator / Warehouse Operative to join a busy team in Loughborough.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating slitter/rewinder machinery and label application machinery, helping to produce high-quality products.

A valid FLT licence (Counterbalance or Flexi) is essential, as you’ll also support the wider warehouse operation, including:

• Goods-in and goods-out
• Picking and packing
• Quality control
• Planning production schedules
• Operating production machinery
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a team

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £16.00 an hour for your hard work.Holiday pay will be accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. You will get a 1 hour lunch break.
