Overview

Field Service Engineer - CNC Machine Tools

Location: Yorkshire

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Company Vehicle

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of CNC machine tools in line with company standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults at customer sites.
• Build lasting relationships with customers across diverse manufacturing sectors.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers and internal teams.
• Stay up to date with the latest machine developments and attend training on new control systems.

About You

• Based in Yorkshire with the ability to travel across the region.
• At least 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience in a service or maintenance role.
• Qualified with an HNC in Engineering and a Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical and electrical fitting skills.
• Knowledge of CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain.
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable using PCs, mobile devices, and email systems.
