Job description

Machine Technician

Location: Dover
Salary: £25,688 per year
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM (38 hours/week)
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Join a world-renowned manufacturing company with over 100 years of heritage. Based in Dover, our client is known globally for producing high-quality luxury products. They're now looking for a skilled and proactive Technician to support their growing production team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and operate production/packaging machinery
  2. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting
  3. Assist with machinery repairs and breakdowns
  4. Support the production team to meet daily targets
  5. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  6. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  7. Provide technical support and help train others when required

Requirements:
  1. Experience with production machinery (e.g. hotmelt systems, labellers, vision/camera equipment)
  2. Mechanical skills and a hands-on approach
  3. Good problem-solving abilities
  4. Basic computer skills
  5. Flexible, reliable, and able to work well both independently and in a team
  6. Willingness to learn and adapt through training
