Job summary

Zebra Preston is seeking a Machine Support Assistant to operate and maintain packaging machinery in a clean room-like production area. The role involves packing, labeling, and routine quality tests, following ISO procedures and safety protocols.

You will work under close supervision with limited decision-making and collaborate with team members to meet production targets. Shifts are multi-hour evening/overnight patterns.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Learns policies and procedures and how to apply them to issues experienced in routine activities

Responsibilities

• Operates packing, wristband, or pre-press functions and related machinery
• Follows work order instructions and performs labeling requirements
• Performs quality tests per ISO procedures
• Complies with all required safety practices and use of PPE
• Resolves simple problems by following highly detailed instructions or procedures
• Receives direct supervision for routine work and new projects with limited decision-making
• Works effectively with others and adheres to Zebra leadership behaviors
