Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation in Preston is seeking a packing and machine operation operative. • Resolves a variety of simple problems of limited complexity by following highly detailed instructions or procedures.
• Receives direct supervision for routine work and new projects; work reviewed for accuracy.

What We’re Looking For:

Operate and maintain supplies manufacturing machines and equipment while adhering to all quality and safety standards. Shifts are - Mon - Thurs 21.45 - 06.30 Fri 18.45 - 23.15.

Responsibilities

• Performs packing, wristband, or pre-press functions and operates associated machinery
• Follows work order instructions and performs labeling requirement
• Performs quality tests per ISO procedures
• Complies with all required safety practices and use of PPE
• Resolves a variety of simple problems of limited complexity by following highly detailed instructions or procedures
• Receives direct supervision for routine work, new projects or assignments. Very limited requirement for decision making role. Any decisions have limited impact on team effectiveness. Work reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy
• Able to work effectively with others and adhere to Zebra Leadership Behaviors. Accepts direction and instructions from supervisor

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
