- Actively interpret technical drawings, program, set up and operate CNC machinery accordingly.
- Supervise machines and team during operation, making real-time adjustments for enhanced results.
- Report and document any discrepancies in operations, including maintenance faults.
- Oversee process changes within the team and department.

- Write CNC milling programs for all machines as required (Fanuc, Edgecam / Cadcam).
- Set up and develop new and existing products on machine centres.
- Assist and advise in the design of jigs and fixtures.
- Maintain and control a current program register and tool inventory.
- Create SOPs, setup sheets and other documents to aid in production.
- Provide general supervision of the Machine Shop.
- Support, coach, mentor, train and develop team members, highlighting training gaps.
- Ensure the team works efficiently, effectively, and is on target to deliver.
- Ensure production schedules are met and set clear objectives.
- Drive improvements in efficiencies.
ABOUT YOU
- Recent and relevant Machine Shop Team Leading / Supervisory experience.
- Experience with precision measurement instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong math skills for measurements and calculations.
- A flexible approach to adapt to changing and challenging requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to remain focused on Quality and emphasize its importance to others.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
