I’m partnering with a well-established precision engineering business to appoint a Machine Shop Manager who can take ownership of a busy machining department and drive performance across people, process, and production.

The Role

• Oversee day-to-day operations across CNC and manual machining
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled machinists
• Plan workloads, allocate jobs, and ensure on-time delivery
• Improve workflow, machine utilisation, and overall efficiency
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve issues quickly
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance
• Track KPIs, report performance, and implement improvements
