Job summary

A leading Fabrication & Welding company is seeking a Machine Shop Manager to oversee a team and the machining operations in Wem. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in sheet metal fabrication and CNC operations. For the successful Machine Shop Manager our client is offering:

• Annual basic salary up to £40,000 per annum (D.O.E)
• Monday to Friday, 7:30-4:30 with a 12:30 finish on Fridays
• Permanent Role
• 29 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Company pension

The Role - Machine Shop Manager:

• Managing a team within the Machine Shop
• Managing the sheet metal fabrication and machining side of the business
• Planning work and adhering to deadlines
• Ordering materials
• Overseeing health & safety within the workshop
• Working on the tools if required
• Liaising with the other Workshop Manager & Factory Manager

What our client is looking for in a Machine Shop Manager:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• You MUST have experience with sheet metal fabrication - ESSENTIAL
• You MUST have experience with CNC Milling, Lathes & Manual machines - ESSENTIAL
• Competent with Microsoft Office Packages - ESSENTIAL
