Ad Warrior Ltd. is seeking a Machine Setter Operative to manage the setup and operation of production machinery at Coulman Road, Thorne, Doncaster. The role attracts a salary of £13.60 per hour with 45 hours per week and overtime on various shifts.

You will drive production targets, ensure product quality meets our standards, and work closely with the Production Supervisor and Engineering team to diagnose and resolve issues. Training others may be required.

Competenze

• Experience with pre-start checks and safety guidelines.
• Ability to monitor production schedules and adjust machine settings.
• Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Mansioni

• Complete pre-start checks in line with H&S, food safety, SKU and quality requirements prior to commencing production.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure changes to the machine are made promptly.
• Liaising with the Production Supervisor / Line Leader for breaks and changeovers to maximise equipment.
• Monitor outputs, maintain routine checks and report to Line Manager any issues arising.
• Conduct alongside Engineering team fault diagnosis and problem solving.
• Reporting promptly any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
• Conduct line cleaning to required specifications.
• Conduct a thorough handover during shift finish.
• Train other/new team members when required, (upon achieving the relevant competency).
• Learn other plant and equipment when requested.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures without exception.
