Job summary

TipTopJob in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, is seeking a Production Operator to ensure production targets are met and all products meet high quality standards. You will set up and operate machinery, perform pre-start checks, and work 45 hours per week with overtime available.

The role requires monitoring schedules, liaising with the line supervisor, training new team members, and maintaining a clean, safe workplace with thorough shift handovers.

Qualifications

• Complete pre-start checks in line with H and S, food safety, SKU and quality requirements.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure changes to the machine are made promptly.
• Liaising with the Production Supervisor / Line Leader for breaks and changeovers to maximise equipment.
• Monitor outputs, maintain routine checks and report to Line Manager any issues arising.
• Conduct alongside Engineering team Fault diagnosis and problem solving.
• Reporting promptly any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
• Conduct line cleaning to required specifications.
• Conduct a thorough handover during shift finish.
• Train other/new team members when required, (upon achieving the relevant competency).
• Learn other plant and equipment when requested.
• Follow all Health and Safety procedures without exception.

Salary: A GBP 13.60 per hour (Weekly paid, one hour for lunch unpaid)

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday : overtime available various shifts.
