Job Role: Extrusion Line Operator

Our 3 Extrusion machines feed over 30 Thermoforming lines. This role involves joining our experienced team to operate our state-of-the-art Extrusion Lines that produce over 700 Tons of rPet Sheet weekly, using more than 300 Tons of recycled bottles.

Reporting to the Team Leader, your responsibilities include:

1. Following the extrusion plan
2. Adjusting material blends to match recipes
3. Booking rolls into the stock control system and labelling products
4. Performing basic maintenance such as roller and die cleaning, and vacuum system upkeep
5. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment following housekeeping standards
6. Setting up and ensuring efficient operation of extrusion lines
7. Sampling finished sheets for quality, focusing on gauge, clarity, and slip properties
8. Supporting department KPIs related to Output, Waste, and Quality Rejects

Qualifications

We seek a team-oriented individual who ensures production targets are met and quality standards are maintained. Ideal qualifications include:

Your working hours:

Average of 42.875 hours per week on a 4-on-4-off continental shift pattern, rotating days (05:45 – 18:00) and nights (17:45 – 06:00). Additional hours may be required based on business needs.
