An established industry player is seeking a skilled Machine Setter to join their vibrant team in Nottingham. Machine Setter
Primarily a day shift role with an early finish on Fridays. Night shifts are required approximately every 6 weeks, so flexibility is needed.

Salary: c£16.35 per hour basic, with total earning potential of approximately £35,000 to £38,000 per annum including all allowances. Benefits include 25 holiday days plus bank holidays, a discretionary annual bonus based on company performance, a pension scheme with 5% employer contributions, and a death-in-service payment of 4x salary.
This Machine Setter role would suit:
An experienced Machine Setter or Minder familiar with CNC machinery or spring manufacturing processes.
Experience in spring making is highly relevant.
Previous experience in an engineering environment, with an eye for detail and quality.
Mechanically minded with good manual dexterity skills.

Key responsibilities:
Set and reset Dual Point coiling machines with CNC controls.
Adjust machines to maintain quality standards.
Measure components using dedicated software, monitor, and record production quality.
Adjust and replace tooling as needed.
Develop new spring manufacturing processes for high-volume production.
