Job description

Job Title: Production Setter (Night Shift)

Salary: £36,737 per year (inclusive of shift allowance)

Working hours: Week 1: 60 hours; Week 2: 24 hours (6:00 pm to 6:00 am)

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a successful engineering company offering a stable and lucrative career in their machining department on night shift.

Responsibilities:

1. Load, set, and operate manufacturing cutting machinery.
2. Perform quality checks on your work using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, callipers, and shadowgraph.
3. Work under pressure to meet targets and KPIs.
4. Possibly assist with basic cutting tasks (advantageous).

Requirements:

1. Previous experience manufacturing machinery and robotics.
2. Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is essential.
3. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
