Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking 4 experienced Machine / Production Operatives for a brand-new Desford facility. You will operate automated production machinery in the cutting and palletising area, ensuring production runs smoothly while upholding the highest quality and safety standards.

This 6‑month contract runs on a 4 on / 4 off rotating days and nights schedule, with Days 5:30am–6:00pm and Nights 5:30pm–6:00am.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment is essential.
• Experience working with automated production equipment is highly desirable.
• Good mechanical aptitude and confidence in making basic machine adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• A proactive, reliable approach with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 4 on / 4 off days and nights shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and adjust automated production machinery, including extruders and de‑hackers.
• Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely throughout the shift.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.
• Identify and report machine faults, defects or production issues.
• Complete production records and basic system updates.
• Work to production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all Health & Safety procedures.

Pay Rate: £17.98 per hour

Contract: 6 month rolling contract
