Saputo in the UK is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join the production team at our Nuneaton site. This role involves operating and setting up production machinery, performing quality checks, and maintaining safe, compliant work practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cutting and packing machines for smooth production.
• Perform 30-minute quality checks to ensure specs and standards.
• Work with the shift team to meet targets and maintain high standards.
• Adhere to health & safety, food safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Identify and report equipment issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of quality checks and production data.

Shift Pattern and Salary: 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off etc. Day shift is 06:45 - 19:00, Night shift is 18:45 - 07:00 £35,576 + site bonus scheme up to £800 per annum Address: Walsingham Dr, Bermuda Park, Nuneaton CV10 7RG

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for motivated individuals to join our production team as Machine Operators. This is a varied role involving manual handling and heavy lifting in some areas, alongside machine setting and running machinery, with progression into fault finding and front-line maintenance of both mechanical and electronic machinery such as HMI screens and PLC systems. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment, where your contributions matter. YOU'LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…

• Running, cleaning and setting up factory equipment
• Operating and monitoring cutting and packing machines to maintain smooth and efficient production flow
• Carrying out 30-minute quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and compliance to standards
• Working with the rest of the shift team to achieve production targets and maintain high standards
• Ensuring adherence to health & safety, food safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Identifying and reporting any equipment issues promptly to minimise downtime
• Maintaining accurate records of quality checks and production data
