Job description

We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for a Machine Operative/Welder in Stanton-By-Dale, Ilkeston. This is initially a temporary ongoing role with the potential to become permanent.

Duties:

1. Working within a manufacturing environment, operating machinery such as lathes and boring machines.
2. Welding of pipe flanges using MIG welding techniques.
3. Using verniers to measure finished products.

What we are looking for:

1. Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
2. Experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
3. An FLT licence is advantageous.
4. At least 12 months of experience in MIG welding.
5. Ability to work day and afternoon shifts.
