Job description

We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Assembly and Test Technicians Level 2. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. No prior experience is required just the ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and demonstrate strong dexterity and attention to detail.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a temporary, on-going position.

The working hours are Thursday to Sunday/ Friday to Sunday 7.00am to 7.15pm.

Role Overview:

As an Assembly and Test Technician Level 2, you will play a key role in assembling and testing complex mechanical and electrical components and systems. You will report directly to the Assembly and Test Supervisor and help ensure high-quality, reliable products are delivered to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test mechanical and electrical systems and components.
  • Operate automated machinery, including setup, loading, unloading, and stacking.
  • Follow defined procedures and adhere to quality and safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve defects or issues during assembly and testing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • No experience required, but a background in manufacturing is desirable.
  • Quick learner with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Basic computer skills for operation and record-keeping.
  • Comfortable working with materials including glues, gases, carbon dust, ink, fibreglass, and potting compounds.
  • Must be able to work standing for long periods there are no seated roles.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory (gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.).
