Work Environment: Graveyard Schedule 5pm - 5:25am, 12-hour shifts (Alternative Work Schedule)

Job Scope: The Machine Operator is responsible for proficiently operating a Palletizer at optimal speed.

Work Environment: Work is primarily indoors near operating equipment with loud noises, such as forklift horns and loose particles. Employees are required to wear a bump cap, hearing protection, safety shoes/boots, and safety glasses at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Palletizer machine as directed and trained.
  • Perform routine adjustments, changeovers, and configurations for pallets or bags.
  • Operate printers, layouts, and computer settings.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Configure product stacks.
  • Maintain accurate and legible paperwork.
  • Conduct machine changeovers.
  • Ensure supplies like pallets, cardboard, and shrink wrap are available.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues.
  • Remove and store full pallets properly, ensuring they are damage-free.
  • Stack pallets symmetrically.
  • Repair damaged pallets or bags before shift ends.
  • Communicate production status to the next shift.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for major machine issues.
  • Keep the workstation clean and safe.
  • Work overtime is mandatory and requires full participation.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) per company policy.
  • Adhere to safety practices and report hazards immediately.
  • Participate in safety programs.
  • Work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
  • Operate a sit-down forklift and pass both written and practical tests.

Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
